The Institute for Education and Development of Conflict Management by Peaceful Means Foundation (I.D.P.), led by its President, Mrs. Prakairatana Thontiravong, was honored with an invitation from the President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Srochinee Siriwatthana to serve as a guest speaker. The lecture focused on the topic of “Dispute Mediation According to the Dispute Mediation Act B.E. 2562.”

This seminar took place at Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Leng Noei Yi 2) and targeted community leaders and local personnel in the Bang Kruai District of Nonthaburi Province. A total of 100 participants attended, including sub-district headmen (Kamnans), village headmen, inspector-kamnans, and assistant village headmen.

The training atmosphere was highly engaging and received excellent attention from the attending community leaders. Following the lecture, several Kamnans and village headmen expressed their clear intention to enroll in the comprehensive dispute mediation training program under the Dispute Mediation Act B.E. 2562.

In addition, the participants shared a collective commitment to push for the establishment of a dedicated “Dispute Mediation Center” for Bang Kruai District, aiming to extend its coverage across all six sub-districts in Nonthaburi Province. This center will serve as a vital mechanism for resolving disputes, facilitating justice, and fostering sustainable peace at the community level.
